The ingredients needed to make Machha Chhinchada / Machha Ghanto:
  1. Prepare 1 fried fish head
  2. Prepare 1 chopped potato
  3. Prepare 1 Brinjal
  4. Prepare 1 cup chopped pumpkin
  5. Make ready 1 chopped arum
  6. Get 1/2 cup soaked chana dal
  7. Prepare 1 chopped onion
  8. Get 1 chopped tomato
  9. Get Masala paste
  10. Make ready 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  11. Take Salt as per taste
  12. Prepare Chilli powder as per taste
  13. Take 2 tsp mustard oil
  14. Prepare leaves Some chopped coriander
  15. Take Ingredients for masala paste:
  16. Prepare 1 chopped onion
  17. Take 8-9 cloves garlic
  18. Prepare 1/2 inch cinnamon
  19. Get 1 inch ginger
  20. Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  21. Get 1 chilli
Steps to make Machha Chhinchada / Machha Ghanto:
  1. Prepare the masala paste.
  2. Heat a pressure cooker put oil in it.
  3. Add the chopped onion into it and when they become translucent then add all the masala paste along with turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder and cook for sometimes.
  4. Then add the chopped tomato when it cooked completely then add other veggies along with the chana dal and cook for sometimes.
  5. Then add little water and cover the lid of the pressure cooker and cook it till one whistle.
  6. Open the lid and then add the fried fish head by breaking it into small pieces and mix it well and again cook it for 3-4 minute in low flame.
  7. Switch off the flame and add some chopped coriander leaves into it.
  8. Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
