The ingredients needed to make Grandma's Stir-Fried Tofu:
  1. Take 1 block Firm tofu
  2. Make ready 1/2 stalk Leek
  3. Take 1 Egg
  4. Prepare 1 pinch of each Salt and pepper
  5. Take Seasoning (dashi stock granules with soy sauce or mentsuyu):
  6. Prepare 1 tsp Dashi stock granules
  7. Prepare 1 to 1/2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  8. Prepare 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons Mentsuyu
  9. Make ready Suggested additions:
  10. Take 1 tsp Grated fresh ginger
  11. Get 1/3 of a pack Mushrooms (enoki, maitake, etc.)

Heat half of the oil in a stir-fry pan or wide skillet. Add the tofu and stir-fry over medium-high heat until golden on most sides. Preheat a wok on medium-high heat. When the oil is hot, add the ginger slices and cook for a few seconds until fragrant.

Instructions to make Grandma's Stir-Fried Tofu:
