The ingredients needed to make Ham and Cheese Casserole:
  1. Prepare 6 ounces Noodles cooked and drained- I prefer the bowtie pasta
  2. Take 2 cups cubed baked ham
  3. Take 1 cup grated Longhorn or Cheddar Cheese
  4. Get 1 (10 oz) can cream of chicken soup or cream of mushroom soup
  5. Prepare 2/3 cup milk or evaporated milk
  6. Take 1 small can of mushroom pieces
  7. Take 1 tsp instant minced onions
  8. Make ready 1 tsp parsley flakes
  9. Take 2 Tlbs butter
  10. Prepare 1/2 can Durkee Fried Onions

A little thyme and Dijon add a savory lift to this leftover ham casserole. This breakfast casserole is our FAVORITE way to feed a crowd. Instructions to make Ham and Cheese Casserole:
  1. Mix ham with 3/4 cups cheese.
  2. Layer noodles and ham mixture in greased 2 qt. Casserole dish.
  3. Sprinkle the minced onions, parsley flakes, and mushroom pieces between the layers.
  4. Combine soup and milk and pour over the top layer. Can be heated to make it more combined.
  5. Top with 1/4 cup of cheese and Dot with butter.
  6. Bake uncovered at 375° for 25 minutes.
  7. Top with Fried Onions, and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
